CASSANDRA BALL, Estate Litigation & Elder Law Lawyer

Cassandra was called to the Bar in 2015 and practices exclusively in Estates Litigation & Elder Law, which includes Will Challenges, Guardianship applications, Power of Attorney disputes, capacity issues and alternative dispute resolution. Prior to joining Eisen Law in 2015, Cassandra articled at a full service firm where she developed a strong background in litigation, cost effective advocacy and alternative dispute resolution.

Cassandra has built on her significant litigation experience through frequent appearances before the Superior Court of Justice and work on complex files, motions and applications. In addition, Cassandra often provides assistance to clients in resolving disputes at mediation, a cost effective and efficient means for resolution.

Cassandra obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario, where she focused on courses to prepare her for a career in litigation. While in law school, she also served as the Head Supervisor at Community Legal Services, Western’s student run legal aid clinic. There, she represented low-income clients in a range of areas, including civil litigation, criminal law, estates and landlord and tenant disputes.

Cassandra is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates Society, Toronto Lawyers Association and currently sits on the OBA Trusts & Estates Executive Council for the 2019-2020 year.
