JUANITA VALENCIA, Estate Litigation & Elder Law Lawyer

Juanita was called to the Bar in 2021 and practices exclusively in Estates Litigation & Elder Law, including Will Challenges, Power of Attorney disputes, capacity issues, and Guardianship applications. Prior to joining Eisen Law in 2023, Juanita was an associate at a boutique estates litigation firm as well as a boutique family law firm in downtown Toronto, where she gained invaluable experience as a litigator.

Juanita obtained her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she gained hands-on experience while serving as a caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services. There, she represented low-income clients with their immigration law needs. While in law school, Juanita also held leadership positions on the boards of several student groups and volunteered at the FCJ Refugee Centre with Pro Bono Students Canada. Following law school, Juanita has had two original articles published in Law360 Canada (previously The Lawyer’s Daily) and two original articles published by Canadian Family Offices.

In her free time, Juanita enjoys travelling, reading, cooking, and going on long walks with her dog.
